2. General information on data processing


We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We process your data exclusively in accordance with the legal provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).

This privacy policy informs you about the type, scope and purpose of the collection and use of personal data when you visit our website.


3. Collection of data when visiting the website (log files)

Each time our website is accessed, our system automatically collects data and information from the computer system of the accessing device. The following data is collected:

  • Hostname of the accessing computer
  • Amount of data transferred

The data is stored in our system's log files. This data is not stored together with other personal data of the user.

Legal basis: Article 6 paragraph 1 letter f GDPR (legitimate interest). Our legitimate interest lies in ensuring the security, stability and functionality of our website and in defending against attacks.


4. Cookies and tracking tools

4.1 Technically necessary cookies

4.2 Matomo (self-hosted)
We use Matomo as self-hosted web analytics software. The data is stored exclusively on our own servers. IP addresses are anonymized before being stored.
Legal basis: Article 6 paragraph 1 letter f GDPR (legitimate interest).

4.3 Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics. The data is transferred to Google LLC (USA). A data processing agreement has been concluded and standard contractual clauses (SCCs) have been agreed upon.
Legal basis: Your consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR.

4.4 Brevo (Newsletter)
We use Brevo (Sendinblue) to send our newsletter. When you subscribe, your email address and optionally your name will be transmitted to Brevo.
Legal basis: Consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time.

4.5 Captcha
We use a CAPTCHA system (e.g., Google reCAPTCHA or hCaptcha) to protect against spam. Data may be transmitted to the respective provider in the process.
Legal basis: Article 6 paragraph 1 letter f GDPR (legitimate interest in protection against misuse).


5. Contact form and comment function

Contact form When you submit inquiries to us via the contact form, your information from the inquiry form, including the contact details you provide, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. This processing is based on Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter f GDPR (legitimate interest in processing your inquiry).

Comment function When you leave comments on our website, in addition to your comment, the time of its creation and – unless you post anonymously – your chosen username will be stored. Your IP address will also be stored and logged. The IP address is stored for security reasons and to protect the website operator from illegal content (insults, prohibited propaganda, etc.). Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest of the controller).


6. SSL/TLS encryption

This site uses SSL/TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential information. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the browser's address bar changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the padlock icon in your browser's address bar.


7. Your rights (data subject rights)

You have the following rights vis-à-vis us:

  • Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • Right to erasure („right to be forgotten“, Art. 17 GDPR)

  • Right to withdraw consent (Art. 7 para. 3 GDPR)

To assert these rights, an informal notification via email to us is sufficient.


8. Right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). Generally, you can contact the supervisory authority in your place of residence or where our company is headquartered.


9. Google Fonts

We use Google Fonts locally on our server. No data is transferred to Google.


10. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy to ensure it always complies with current legal requirements.
